Back to Gears of War

Filed under: Games — christer @ 4:00 pm

I remembered that I never got around to finish Gears of War on my 360 so I fired it up the other day, and I haven’t been able to let it go since. It’s such an amazing game. I managed to kill RAAM thus finishing the game, but I hadn’t found all COG tags so I did that using this guide, and when I did that I started trying out some of the chapters on the Insane level. It’s quite fun but a bit tough sometimes. I have played through Act 1 and 5 on Insane and will probably do the other acts soon.

Once I’m done with that I might start Halo 3 again. Haven’t been playing that too much. :)

Going to Alicante

Filed under: Climbing, Trips — christer @ 11:38 am

Me and a friend of mine are going to Alicante in Spain for some climbing a week in December (8th to 15th). I haven’t been there before but my friend has, so hopefully it won’t be too much driving around trying to figure out where to climb. One week is too short but hey, it’s better than nothing. :)

No longer 100% on Bioshock!

Filed under: Games — christer @ 11:49 am

I just saw that Bioshock has gotten a new secret achievement, so I don’t have 100% any more. The achievement is called Bulletproof and to get it you have to play through the game on Hard without using any of the vita-chambers. Sounds like a tricky one… :( Better start up Bioshock again to see if I can get it.

Zend_Bittorrent proposal update

Filed under: PHP — christer @ 11:49 pm

The last couple of days I wrote a Zend_Bittorrent_Torrent class that is able to create torrent files like btmakemetafile. I have added some info about it to the proposal I have for a Bittorrent component to the Zend Framework. I have also written a lot of unit tests for the component which have been a nice experience.

So if anyone reading this have any interest in such a component, don’t hesitate to give a comment or two. :)
