Three red lights

Filed under: Games — christer @ 10:14 am

So I wanted to play some Forza Motorsport 2 on my Xbox 360 the other day… Well … tough luck! When I fired up my 360 I only got the dreaded three red lights around the power button.

I talked to Xbox support earlier today and it seems that it can take a while (max ~30 days) before I will get a replacement Xbox. I won’t accept that, so I will go the place where I bought it and let them handle it all, and I will demand a replacement console while they handle the stuff with Microsoft. Looking forward to playing again tonight! :)

Nine Inch Nails and Tool

Filed under: Music — christer @ 11:04 am

Saw Nine Inch Nails at Øyafestivalen in Oslo yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. It was the first time I saw them live and I really hope I can see them again some other time. The highlight for me (and probably many others as well) was “Head like a hole”.

The sound was amazing the whole show and they had some pretty cool lighting. I was hoping for “Something I can never have” but they did not play that one.

Tonight I am going to see Tool and that will probably be amazing as well.

edit: Took some rather crappy pictures of Nine Inch Nails with my cellphone that I just uploaded.

!(Thundercats Hoo!)

Just got a mail from the Amazon shop I ordered the ThunderCats DVD’s from and it said that they are no longer able to get the product in stock! :( Too bad … have too order it from someone else then.

I was thinking about getting Guitar Hero for my Xbox 360 the other day … maybe I will get that instead and wait for the Region 2 releases of the DVD’s.

The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever

Filed under: Books — christer @ 12:34 pm

On my way to work today I finished the last book in The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever trilogy by Stephen R. Donaldson which has been very exciting and entertaining. The books have given me many hours of reading pleasure and I can’t wait to start on the first book in the second chronicles.

The other stuff I have read from Donaldson includes the Gap sequence, and Mordant’s Need, and they are all highly recommended if you are info Fantasy / Sci-fi stuff.
