Went to Norwegian Wood at Frognerbadet in Oslo with a friend yesterday to see Soulfly, Deftones and Turbonegro. Korn was supposed to headline but they canceled (like all the other times they have scheduled a show in Norway) and Turbonegro played instead. Not exactly a worthy replacement if you ask me. Anyway, the show was good, the weather was nice, and the beer was cold. :)
After the show we walked toward the train to head back to Fredrikstad, but we missed it with a minute (the train left the station when we came running) so we were stuck in Oslo for a couple more hours. We used our time well though, eating at Burger King and Carmel Grill (a nice kebab place close to Karl Johan). Took a couple of pictures with my mobile phone as well.
Anyway, the concert was good, but would probably have been better with Korn instead of Turbonegro.

The local climbing club in the town where I live is building an indoor climbing centre, and we have been selected along with three other organizations for the Bluzz fond. If we get the most votes we will receive 50.000,- norwegian kroners (about 6200 euro) that will be used for the centre. Please go to http://www.fes.no/bluzz.php, enter your mail address and wait for a mail to arrive containing a link. When you click on the link you can vote for Fredrikstad Klatreklubb. You can vote once every day and if you have several mail addresses, please use every one. :)
I have been offered a job at VG (a rather large Norwegian newspaper) in Oslo as a developer. I will probably receive the employment agreement tomorrow. Exciting! :)
Just got a mail from Rich, a guy I met in El Chorro earlier this year. It was cool to read up on what he has been doing. The guy is travelling all over Europe just doing whatever he wants. :) Sounds kinda nice if you ask me. :) Added a link to his photo gallery as well.
Well, that was it folks. Last friday the project was delivered, and my summer vacation has started.
I will add some more content about the Where R U? project here so you can download the software and test it. I will convert this blog to my own personal blog, whilst keeping the school related blogs. So, tune in later for some more stuff. :)
