This page contain a table of the 1001 albums I must get before I die. I will update this page as I make progress. The entries marked in green is the ones I have. As you can see I am missing quite a few… I copied the table from Wikipedia’s entry on the book. I’m not sure if it’s 100% correct though. When I looked through it I actually found an entry with Burzum‘s album Aske, which is not in the book. Being the nice guy I am I updated the page on Wikipedia. The funny part is that I actually own that album, so if it was included in the book I would have yet another in the list! Oh, one last thing … since I have the Norwegian edition of the book there are some albums that have been added (Norwegian albums). I have split them up in a separate table at the end of this page.

These 1001 albums contain quite a bit of music. It can be overwhelming, I’m sure. To not COMPLETELY overwhelm you, it’s restricted – in time and in space. This is only one person’s final say on the 1,001 albums AND it’s dated. There’s constantly new music coming out there almost as fast as there are new human beings being born. Now the real question is: should you look backwards or move forwards?
